Join us during our Sip & Tour on Friday, August15th at 6pm! Our Museum Manager will lead you on a guided tour through our current exhibition while you enjoy a delicious cocktail inspired by the artwork on display.

This month’s cocktail is inspired by ‘A Seed Under The Tongue and A Song Upon The Air, 2016’ by artist Michael Pajon and the mythological tale of Demeter and Persephone. The cocktail plays with combining winter and summer ingredients, merging these opposing elements into one, much like this collage. The cocktail is garnished like collage, almost as if the subjects were coming out of a book , or even from the artwork itself, to accompany you on your journey through the gallery space. Spring, Fertility, Growth, all shaken up, in a Nick + Nora, and garnished with a dried apricot on a pick with cut-out paper elements.
