Fragile Figures: Beings and Time Exhibition Opening Reception

Join 21c Museum Hotel Cincinnati on Friday, September 19th for the opening of our new exhibition, Fragile Figures: Beings and Time. The exhibition presents a thematic group exhibition of 85 multi-media artworks by 53 artists from across the globe exploring how contemporary portraiture illuminates the complexity of identity, revealing intersections between vulnerability and power.

From 6pm-8pm enjoy:

• Complimentary light bites and a cash bar from Metropole
• Opening remarks from 21c’s Chief Curator Alice Gray Stites
• A special presentation by featured visiting artist Nate Lewis
• Performance by interdisciplinary artist and ecologist Julia O. Bianco.

The reception is free to attend and everyone is welcome!

At 8pm the celebration continues with our Fragile Figures Dinner at Metropole featuring a one-night-only pre-fixe menu inspired by the exhibition!

Executive Chef Corey Cova has crafted four imaginative courses that echo the themes and artistry on display, with optional beverage pairings available. To make the evening even more memorable, each guest will take home a limited-edition artist-designed print, offering a lasting memento of the evening.
