Pop Stars! Pride Prom

21c Museum Hotel St. Louis invites the community to celebrate our St. Louis LGBTQIA+ community at Pop Stars! Pride Prom on Friday, June 13 from 7pm-11pm supporting monthly Community Impact partner, Metro Trans Umbrella Group (MTUG). MTUG is a non-profit organization created by and for the St. Louis trans community that aims to unite trans, genderqueer, androgynous, intersex people, and allies through visibility, advocacy, and education.

Guests are invited to wear their finest formal prom attire and looks inspired by 21c’s current exhibition, Pop Stars! Popular Culture and Contemporary Art. Best Dressed and Prom Royalty will be crowned with the opportunity to win prizes including a 21c Museum Hotel St. Louis staycation package. All are encouraged to explore the exhibition as a final hurrah before it leaves St. Louis at the end of June 2025.

Dance the night away to pop music sets courtesy of DJ Jillian, enjoy Pop Stars! themed drag performances hosted by Miss Pride St. Louis 2025, Vanessa Frost, and a cast of talented and diverse drag performers. The first 100 guests will receive a corsage or boutonniere courtesy of Alice Blue Collective.

In addition to multiple bars serving art-inspired signature cocktails featuring spirits from sponsors 1220 Spirits and Bacardi, Good Press café will be open afterhours as an espresso martini bar. VIP guests will enjoy unlimited cocktails from our event bars.
