Coffee Talks at 21c Museum Hotel St. Louis is a monthly conversation series that creates space for critical conversations around healing, justice, and community transformation in St. Louis.

This month’s discussion, Embrace the Power of Reading: Literacy in Spaces Where Black Children Exist, centers our July Community Impact Partner, St. Louis Black Authors of Children’s Literature.

The conversation will highlight The Believe Projects, which inspire children and youth to become confident and competent readers by using culturally responsive books, music, art, and media in spaces where they are free to relax, explore, and be fiercely and fully themselves.
