Coffee Talks
8:00 AM – 9:30 AM
Additional Dates: 10/28/2026
Coffee Talks at 21c Museum Hotel St. Louis is a monthly conversation series that creates space for critical conversations around healing, justice, and community transformation in St. Louis.
This month, we’re proud to partner with September’s Community Impact Partner, Lift For Life Gym, for a conversation titled Changing the Trajectory: Investing in St. Louis Youth Through Community Action.
Every day, Lift For Life Gym serves approximately 50–60 young people, many of whom live at or below the poverty level. Through free fitness, mentoring, nutrition, transportation, and hot meals, the organization creates a consistent and supportive environment where young people can build confidence, hope, discipline, and a stronger vision for their futures.
This conversation will explore why this is a critical moment for St. Louis to invest in its young people and the role that individuals, businesses, nonprofits, and community institutions can play in creating greater access to opportunity. Lift For Life Gym will share lessons from its work in North St. Louis City and discuss what is required to strengthen, grow, and sustain programs that give young people meaningful opportunities to thrive.
